Bunratty Castle

Bunratty Castle was built in 1425 and was restored in 1954 to its former medieval splendor. It now contains mainly 15th and 16th century furnishings tapestries and works of art.  We couldn't take pictures inside because of possibly damaging the tapestry with the flash lights from our camera.

This is from the roof. It was sososososo windy it almost blew me off.

At night time the castle is the impressive setting for medieval banquets held year round.
